Our organization is all about helping small businesses by representing them as a community and protecting their utility and energy-related concerns.  We invite small businesses to join SBUA but do not accept membership from individuals or larger corporations.  In California, SBUA only represents the interests of small commercial customers of bundled electricity as defined in California’s Public Utility Code section 1802 (see Cal. Pub. Utilities Code §§ 1802, 1802.3), and California membership is limited to that customer class.
